REVIEW: COLGATE OPTIC WHITE TOOTHBRUSH + BUILT-IN WHITENING PEN

Thanks to Influenster, I am able to try a complimentary Colgate Optic White Toothbrush for testing purposes! I am so excited to have this opportunity! I mean, come on, who would complain about free teeth whitening products?

The Influenster box I received contained the following: Colgate Optic White Toothpaste, Colgate Optic White Toothbrush with Built-in Whitening Pen, and coupons.  I've been using the toothbrush and toothpaste for 2 days now and the claim of seeing results after just 2 days of use is completely true!

The toothbrush has a hallow compartment in it where the whitening pen clicks into place.  I love that the whitening pen connects to the toothbrush because it is so convenient to whiten right after brushing.  The texture and consistency of the whitening gel is like thick toothpaste.  Two clicks of the whitening pen releases enough whitening gel to cover either the top or bottom teeth.  I find that two clicks releases slightly too much for my top or bottom teeth alone but I just spit out any extra after applying it onto my teeth (sorry if that's gross).

In the past I have tried whitening strips and due to the sensitivity of my teeth I was not able to last more than a couple of nights of using them.  The Colgate whitening pen does not cause me any pain!! I personally love it and love how effective the toothbrush, toothpaste, and whitening pen already are!

REVIEW: JEFFREY CAMPBELL LITA-FUR

I recently scored these Jeffrey Campbell Lita Furs at Nordstrom Rack for around $80. Thankfully I had a $100 gift card so I technically got these amazing shoes for free!  I normally wear a 7.5 size shoe but these Lita's are a size 7.  I quickly snatched up the box before any one else noticed them and prayed that I could squeeze into them.  Thankfully they fit perfectly!  I was SO excited because I rarely see Jeffrey's in these types of discount stores.  I could hardly wait to break these babies in so I wound up changing into them as soon as I got home... and wore them for the next couple of days. 

These Lita's are definitely more comfortable than the Damsel or Night Walk styles I also own.  The chunky heel gives great support and they are much more comfortable than stiletto pumps.  One negative thing I can say is that the upper part of the Lita that wraps around my ankle rubs on the sides of my ankles and causes them to become sore and sometimes breaks the skin.  I have temporarily fixed this problem by wearing bandaids on the sides of my ankles.  I did experience a similar problem with my Damsel Cross Jeffrey's and they eventually broke in.  I'm hoping that my Lita's will break in soon!  Other than that, I love the design and the look of these shoes.  I have found that they look ideal with a high-waisted black skirt or shorts.  I would definitely recommend adding these shoes to anyone's collection!
